PRI Profile

This PRI was made to Farmland Renewal LLC to support Copake Agricultural Center (CAC), which was formed to bring together farmers and social investors to develop an innovative project that creates long-term access to farmland, while growing farmer and investor equity. The social mission of investment in CAC is achieved by increasing access to local food and productive farmland, conserving rural landscapes, and reviving rural economies.

Highlights

As of late 2016, Copake’s farms have created 30 full-time jobs and sent its food and flowers to more than 70 local and regional venues.
