Maremoto is a home for visionary change where Latinos have the freedom to build civic, media, and cultural power for their communities. The organization develops inspirational, bold, scaled solutions that transform lives, celebrate the places Latinos call home, and claim their collective power to demand a rightful place in U.S. democracy.

Through their work they envision helping create a world where Latinos are truly powerful and influential—within their families, neighborhoods, and across the country. Maremoto wants to build a future that is connected, safe, and joyful, while leading a change that honors where Latinos come from and why they belong in the United States.

About Our Grants

In 2025, the Woodcock Foundation awarded Maremoto a two-year, $220,000 grant to support its Moonshot YouTube work. The Woodcock Foundation previously made grants totaling $550,000 to Equis Institute, where Maremoto’s strategy was originally incubated before Maremoto became an independent organization.
