PRI Profile

This PRI was made to Calvert Foundation to support Pro Mujer, whose mission is to provide underserved women in Latin America with the vital services necessary to become financially independent, healthy, and self-confident. Pro Mujer believes women are powerful agents of change, capable of breaking the cycle of poverty for themselves, their families, and their communities. Pro Mujer has provided approximately two million women with the resources they need to empower themselves and transform many lives.

Since 1990, Pro Mujer has disbursed $2.8 billion in small loans to underserved women in Latin America.
